going so fast

It seems like after all the time we waited and prayed and hoped for a baby (2 years active trying, 4 years saving the money to do the surgery to be able to actively try) you would think that we would be able to savor this time, but it is FLYING by!

Its a bittersweet time-fly though, because we are so excited to meet him, but also realize this is likely our only pregnancy.

We have purchased a few items, a swing, carseat, baby tub, nursing pillow, and plenty of clothes (thank you ebay lots, 40 pieces for 14.99!) Still we need to get the bassinet and diapers (bumgenius cloth diapers thank you very much) and all the little odds and ends like thermometer, ointment, clippers, etc. We have plenty of blankets as well. A friend is passing a bouncy chair to us, and other than bottles, I'm not sure what else we will need right away.

Here are the bumgenius, mom

I hope nobody buys us pacifiers. I do not intend to use them, and I am afraid if I have them around I will give in during a weak moment ;0 If they do, I'll just donate them to charity ASAP I guess LOL!hopefully that doesn't sound ungrateful, i just really want to avoid them.

Its kind of overwhelming, but once we really made a list, we were able to get LOTS of stuff in a couple of days. Thank God for craigslist!

Don't forget the nursing bras and tops for you...that is one I always forget about :)

Also have you found a diaper rash cream for cloth diapers yet? I like the ones from this site (It is about half way down the page):

Works great! I get the stick and it is really easy to use and smells wonderful :)

I recently bought a wrap, and they were selling those diapers in the same store. I've been thinking about them, but I'm just not sure yet.
